standing there
posed so true
her finery
at ankle’s depth
glistening in dew
hand now wet
layer depths
unfolded scents
memories unfold
from closed eyes
moments shared
stored in bytes
of scented beauty
in naked beauty
On a morning bike ride, I came across an old rose bush still in bloom,
stripped of leaves and yet still in bloom,
we had a heavy frost that morning. June 5, 2021
