 Then…

 “ I would even know your shadow “

In a year and a day… 

One might say or perchance even believe…

As words were shared…

Between such a beauty and this old school beast…

I have heard her voice in the wind and waves…

I have read her sorrows and felt her tremble…

I have known her pain, heard her anger from within…

I have known of chivalry…

I have known such beauty…

I have looked upon her face…

Though I have not looked into her eyes…

Though I have not breathed in her scent…

Perchance, I already know her soul…

“ I would even know your shadow ”
