Rising from her knees…
As she opened her eyes…
To the voice she heard…
Having lost track of the time…
She knew the warmth of the Sun…
Was no longer present…
Lost in her prayers…
A single ray of light…
Illuminated the fog…
Was the voice with fog…
Or within her heart…
As she prayed to God…
To end the senseless violence…
Throughout her world…
